Well, 2025 is almost half over now. I figured this would be a good time to check in and see how you’re progressing.

As usual, I put together a long list of ideas at the start of each new year – some options for your privacy and security to-do list. The idea is not to do them all, but pick out a good subset of tasks and chip away at them over the course of the year. Slow and steady wins the race!
Well, we’re 6 months into 2025… how’s that to-do list coming? 🙂
Don’t beat yourself up if you haven’t made much progress. We all have things demanding our time – and let’s face it, the world is more than a little crazy right now. That said, I think that it’s never been more important to get serious about our security and privacy. I don’t care what your particular political persuasion is, our data is being mercilessly mined, stolen, sold and abused – and that’s not good for anyone right now. We need to delete our data where we can and do our best to protect anything we can’t remove.
So here’s an abbreviated version of my full 2025 New Year’s Resolutions list. I would strongly suggest you go back and re-read that article for inspiration, to give these suggested tasks more context. And remember that it’s not just about you doing these things… if you can help other people to do them, too, that makes things better for everyone.
